SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Operational Hours

PLA operates on a Monday - Friday schedule and is available from 9:30 AM PST - 5:30 PM PST to assist you. PLA’s warehouse is open to the public from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST. Our warehouse remains closed during weekends, and no orders are fulfilled, processed, or shipped during this period.

Additionally, PLA observes the following holidays and will not be operational on these dates:
  1. Thursday, July 4th, 2024 - 4th of July
  2. Monday, September 2nd, 2024 - Labor Day
  3. Thursday, November 28th, 2024 - Thanksgiving
  4. Tuesday, December 24th, 2024 - Christmas Eve
  5. Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 - Christmas Day
  6. Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 - New Years Day
Please plan your orders accordingly, taking into consideration these non-operational days.

Shipping

PLA ensures same-day shipping for all expedited shipping orders placed before 2 PM PST, within regular business hours.
All orders are typically processed within 72 hours during regular business days, excluding peak periods such as sales and promotions.

During peak times, please anticipate processing times of up to 5 business days due to increased order volume. It's important to note that the chosen shipping rate applies to shipping time, not processing time. We appreciate your patience and understanding during peak periods.

Expedited Shipping

Please note that the shipping times provided are estimations and are subject to potential delays caused by internal server errors, adverse weather conditions, mechanical issues, and other unforeseen circumstances. It's important to understand that expedited shipping services do not include delivery on Saturdays and Sundays. Orders placed over the weekend, specifically on Saturday or Sunday, will be processed and shipped on the following Monday, excluding federal holidays. Please note that these shipping options are subject to availability and may not be accessible for all addresses or at all times.
 
** Expedited shipping services receive priority fulfillment, especially during peak periods such as sales. If you require your package urgently, we recommend selecting from one of the following options during checkout.
 
  • PLA One Rate Delivery offers an estimated delivery time of 2 business days (Monday to Friday). Please note that this shipping option is not applicable for deliveries to P.O. boxes. Orders placed before 2 pm PST from Monday to Friday will be processed and shipped on the same day from PLA's facilities.
  • FedEx Standard Overnight is a guaranteed next business day (Monday-Friday) shipping service, arriving by 4:30 p.m. Please note that FedEx does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Orders placed before 2pm PST Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day from PLA.

Domestic Shipping

Standard shipping times are on average 1-7 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping method you selected during check out and the location of your shipping address. Delivery times exclude processing and fulfillment times.

USPS Ground Advantage and Free Standard shipping times are only estimates and NOT guaranteed.
  • USPS Ground Advantage is estimated to take 2-5+ business days to arrive.
  • Free Standard Shipping for orders over $125.00. As a thank you to our customers, PLA offers free standard shipping on orders over $125.00. Free standard shipping is estimated to take 2-5+ business days to arrive. Final sale items are ineligible for this promotion. *Some products are ineligible for this promotion
Once your parcel leaves the PLA Warehouse, shipping times are dependent on the carrier. If you have order issues for packages presumed to be lost by the carrier (where the status is “not delivered”) you must contact PLA Customer Service within 7 days after the last tracking update for U.S. domestic shipments.

International Shipping

International shipping averages 3 to 21 days. Delivery time may vary depending on your country and the shipping carrier you selected during check out.
 
  • DHL Express estimated delivery time for international orders: 2-5 business days.
  • FedEx International Express + International Priority provides delivery in 1-3 business days worldwide.
  • FedEx International Connect typically delivers in 1-5 business days worldwide.
  • USPS estimated delivery time for international orders: 7-21 business days.
Once your parcel leaves the PLA Warehouse, shipping times are dependent on the carrier. Order issues for packages presumed to be lost by the carrier (where the status is “not delivered”) must be filed no sooner than 20 days with PLA for international shipments, including Canada unless a Canadian merchant is shipping within Canada, and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.
PLA partners with Global-e to sell Products to our customers outside of the United States. If you enter an international shipping address at the beginning of the checkout process, we will redirect you to Global-e to complete your purchase. Purchases for shipment outside of the United States are subject to Global-e’s Terms of Sale. 

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

PLA is not responsible for any customs duties, or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Exchanges and Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. You can exchange all eligible unused or unopened products within 10 days from the day you received your order. PLA does not accept returns on used products.

Liquid products, including adhesive, primers, bonders, nail polish, and cream based products cannot be returned. If you are unhappy with any of these items please contact our customer service via email at sales@plapro.com.

All PLA Kits, including our Classic, Classic and Volume, and Educator Kits cannot be returned.

All PLA Tweezers can be exchanged within 10 days of purchase. We know tweezers are very personal, and we want to make sure you find the pair that's right for you.

Store credits for exchanges will be completed once items are received at the PLA warehouse. Shipping and PLA Shipping Protection costs are non-refundable.
 
Items in replacement packages are ineligible for return or exchange. In the event that your replacement product arrives damaged, please contact customer service and a resolution will be reached.

PLA offers prepaid return labels for all domestic returns. All returns must be approved by PLA before being sent back to us. Any unauthorized returns received will not qualify for return, replacement, or refund.

Discounts, Sales, and Promotions

Promotions cannot be retroactively applied and are valid only during the specific dates or events advertised. Orders placed outside of the promotional timeframe are ineligible for the promotion.
 
Our system allows for the use of one discount or code per order. Multiple discounts cannot be applied at once. This includes loyalty rewards and/or point discount codes.
 
During BOGO promotions, all items must be added to the cart to receive the promotional discount. To qualify for the promotion, eligible items must be added in increments of 2.
 
Certain PLA items are exempt from promotions. This category includes, but is not limited to, final sale items, products featured on our We Made Too Much page, ProMade 2.0 items, and new releases. Please note that this list is subject to change.

Product Warranties

PLA provides a 6-month warranty starting from the date of purchase for the following items:
  • LED UV GEL NAIL LAMP
  • NAIL DRILL
  • PLAPRO DOUBLE WAX WARMER
  • PLAPRO SINGLE WAX WARMER
  • NANO MISTER
  • VORTEX GLUE SHAKER
If you are experiencing any issues with these items, please contact our customer service team at sales@plapro.com for assistance with your warranty claim. Please note that warranty claims are subject to approval.

Order Verification

In certain circumstances, our system may require additional information before proceeding with an order. Please note that PLA does not dictate when our system flags an order for such requirements. If your order is flagged, you will be contacted within 1 business day of your order being placed to provide the necessary information. Failure to provide the requested information within 3 business days from the date of our initial contact may result in the cancellation of your order.
