Must-Haves for Classic Lashing

Classic lashes are timeless, natural, and beautiful. Anyone wanting a simple enhancement to bring out their natural beauty would be thrilled to get Classic lashes. Today we are showing you our PLA Must-Haves for Classic Lashing.

Tweezers

  • The P4 tweezer is our straight tweezer. It is great for isolation and working with Classic Lashes. It has a length of 12cm and is made from durable Japanese stainless steel.
  • The P6 is our ultimate volume tweezer! While most lash artists use this for hand-making fans, the P6 can be used for isolation as well due to its curved tip. This is why we recommend it for Classics! It is 12cm in length and features our infamous engraved ruler at the end.
  • The P7 tweezer is actually our owner Michelle’s personal favorite tweezer! The P7 is our 15 degree angle volume tweezer. However, the curved tip also makes it great for picking up a singular classic lash! It is also great for fan-making techniques such as lonely, pinching, and wiggle.

Adhesive for Classic Lashing

  1. Halo 

Halo is Paris Lash Academy’s first clear glue! This is a master lash artist’s favorite glue. Halo has been tested in multiple humidity ranges and room conditions and has worked great every time. Halo is a great option if you have clients with sensitivities to Carbon Black or if you need a fast drying glue. Halo, like all PLA adhesives, are cruelty-free and never tested on animals.

Room Conditions Needed 

  • Performs best at a temperature of 68-74 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  • If your room humidity is 50% or lower, your Halo adhesive has a 1 second cure time
  • If your room humidity is 50-70% it has a 0.5 second cure time
  • If your room humidity is over 70%, please use a dehumidifier

Storage Tips

  • Halo needs to be stored in a cool, dark area such as in an airtight container with silica gel 
  • Keep away from UV light 
  • Unopened adhesive is good for 6 months
  • Opened adhesive has a shelf life of 4-6 weeks

Room Conditions Needed 

  • Performs best at a temperature of 68-74 degrees Fahrenheit 
  • If your room humidity is 50% or lower, your Onyx adhesive has a 2 second cure time
  • If your room humidity is 50-70% it has a 1 second cure time
  • If your room humidity is over 70%, please use a dehumidifier

  • Keep away from UV light 
  • Unopened adhesive is good for 6 months

PLA Pearl is perfect for more advanced artists who have more experience with adhesives. It’s also great for those in lower humidity environments!

Best Lashes for Classics

  • Flat Lashes - We offer single length and mixed length trays of flat lashes. Flat lashes are a great way to give a dramatic look without adding extra weight. They are available in 0.15, 0.20, or 0.2 and C, CC, or D curls! Mixed trays include 16 lines ranging from 8mm-15mm. These have a hint of matte and are perfect for dense classic sets!
  • Classic Lashes - Lightweight with a touch of matte, our beautiful classic lashes will increase length without adding too much volume. We offer mixed trays ranging from 8 mm to 15 mm. You can also grab single length trays to meet your needs! Our lashes are micro laser cut to make them even lighter weight. They are made from Japanese mink fiber with a hint of matte finish. Our classics are available in 0.15 and 0.18 and in C, CC, D, and M curl!

Lash Accessories

  • Glue Dot Holder - PLA glue palettes are a perfect way to hold your adhesive to allow for easy fan dipping. The palette is specially designed to prevent leakage so adhesive does not overflow. You might even find your lashing process speed up from the ease of using an adhesive palette!

  • Large Mirror - Our large mirror is a great complement to any set. The large surface area allows you to check your lash set as you work. It’s a great way to make sure the lashes are looking even and placed correctly. You can also use it to be sure there are no ‘stickies’ on the under eye pad. 
  • Spoolies - Where would we be without our spoolies? Brushing and fluffing the lashes at the end of the set is one of the best parts of the process! Be sure to grab a pack of our PLA pink and black disposable spoolies. They are wonderful to use yourself or to hand out to your clients so they can brush and fluff as well.

  • Disposable Lip Wands and Micro Brushes - Especially during these unprecedented times, it is a good idea to use as many disposable items as possible. We suggest using disposable lip wands for cleansing and disposable micro brushes for applying glue support as a primer to the client’s natural lashes. There are many other uses for these two items, so definitely grab a few packs of each!
  • Lash Tiles - Keep your lashes organized and all in one place by arranging them on one of our new lash tiles!

PLA Quick Tips

  • A lot of artists want to know how to achieve fullness with Classic lashes. While we can only go as full as a client’s natural lashes allow, we suggest lashing in layers to have ‘no lash left behind.’ 
  • Complete your set with the PLA Supreme Bonder to achieve maximum retention. Our Supreme Bonder cures the adhesive from the inside out and instantly locks in the extensions. This is a great addition to your lashing routine!
